The officer on the left is an elegant figure in the uniform of the 7th Regiment, his blue coat adorned with red facings, lace, and white tails. He wears a red sash and carries a sword in his right hand, while his horse is adorned with trappings and a red plume. On the right, the officer of the 16th Regiment cuts an imposing figure, his uniform adorned with red facings and blue lace. He too carries a sword and wears a red sash. His horse, equally well-groomed, is adorned with a white plume. Both officers are depicted in their correct positions within their respective formations, adding a sense of order and discipline to the scene.
