Harry Lawrence Oakley (1882-1960), silhouette artist, pictured in his studio on the pier at Llandudno. Oakley, whose silhouettes were in demand for posters, magazines illustrations and advertising, also cut thousands of portraits during his lifetime. He set up studios around the country, at seaside resorts and in department stores, but Llandudno was a particular favourite of his and he returned for the summer season regularly. Date: c.1956-7

Quality timber frame frame moulding (20mm wide and 30mm deep) with frame colours in your choice of black, white, or raw oak and a choice of black or white card mounts. Frames have a perspex front providing a virtually unbreakable glass-like finish which is easily cleaned with a damp cloth.
