Het jaar 1804!!!. Dutch cartoon forecasts aeronautic events for the year 1804 by showing a scene at a failing balloon ascension, in the interests of scientific inquiry, possibly by Wille van de Heeren Hopman & Loude. Men struggle to inflate the balloon, labeled Lust tot Onderzoek, as laborers bring necessary supplies to the loading area and two draft-dogs strain at a wagon carrying vitriol and spykers.
