The production was led by Justin Cadaux and featured Sainte-Foy in the iconic milkmaid costume designed by Charles Louis Lasalle. The image is based on an illustration by Alexandre Lacauchie, as published in Victor Dollet's Galerie Dramatique: Costumes des Theatres de Paris. Clarisse Sainte-Foy (1817-1884) was a celebrated French soprano, known for her exceptional vocal abilities and captivating stage presence. In this portrayal of Denise, she embodies the character's innocence and grace, with her expressive face and delicate pose.
