Framed Print of Heres the Cup! A delignted Jeff Astle. the scorer of West Bromwich Albion

Heres the Cup! A delignted Jeff Astle. the scorer of West Bromwich Albions goal in their 1-0 Cup Final victory over Everton, produly shows the trophy to the fans outside West Bromwich Town Hall, Staffordshire, on Sunday (19-5-68). It was the magic moment that climaxed a rapturous welcome home for the Cup winners. More than 250, 000 fans turned out to greet them, and their coach was cheered all along the 10-mile route from Birmingham, Warkwickshire, where they arrived by train from London, to West Bromwich. Outside the Town Hall, there were fantastic scenes as police struggled to control a 10, 000 crowd.
