He learned his trade at an often cold and damp Teesside Airport. Among the guests at the passing-out ceremony was the chief training officer of Saudi Arabias civil aviation department, Suleiman Al-Ghanam, left, school superintendent Mr Peter Villiers-Tuthill, right, the Cas Chief Fire Service Officer, Mr Bob Hayward, second left. The training was set up after a special request from the Saudi Arabian government. 7th March 1984
