EDITORS COMMENTS
In this photo print, we are transported back to the year 1941, amidst the chaos of World War II. The image showcases the crew members from the Polish destroyer O. R. P. Piorun, standing proudly alongside their beloved pet cats. It is evident that these feline companions hold a special place in the hearts of these brave sailors. The Poles aboard this warship have developed a unique bond with their furry friends, going to great lengths to ensure their safety and well-being.
