The National Fire Service flag is quarterly blue and red, in the first quarter the Union Flag and in the fourth quarter is the badge of the National File Service.
The Civil Defence flag is quarterly, blue and yellow, in the first quarter the Union Flag and in the fourth
quarter the badge of the Civil Defence Services.
Mr.Herbert Morrison, Home Secretary and Minister of Home security will break the National Fire Service flag at the masthead at a parade in London an Wednesday 18th August, to celebrate the second anniversary of the formation of the National Fire Service.
