Poster produced for the London, Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS) to promote rail travel to Llandudno, North Wales. The poster shows a panoramic view of the coast, with a large stretch of the sea and a pleasure boat approaching the pier. Artwork by Charles Pears, a marine painter in oil who was an Official Naval Artist during the World Wars. He worked as a poster artist for rail companies and other clients and was also a book illustrator. National Railway Museum is the home of iconic locomotives.
