Poster produced for British Railways (Western Region) with artwork by Terence Cuneo (1907-1996). Colour poster produced for BR to celebrate the centenary of the Royal Albert Bridge which was designed and built by Isambard Kingdom Brunel (1803-1859). The bridge spans the river Tamar, which links Devon and Cornwall. The artist also painted portraits, ceremonial and military subjects. Terence Cuneo studied at the Chelsea and Slade Art Schools. National Railway Museum is the home of iconic locomotives.
