This iconic photograph captures the moment Gavin Rae scored his first goal for Rangers Football Club in their 4-0 victory over Dundee on 20th March 2004. The Scottish midfielder, who had joined the club just a few months prior, was thrilled to find the back of the net in front of the adoring Ibrox crowd. Rae, who began his career at Dundee United, had dreamt of playing for Rangers since he was a young boy. The opportunity to don the famous light and dark blue stripes was a dream come true for the midfielder. However, the pressure to perform at such a high level was immense. On this particular day, Rae rose to the occasion, netting the third goal of the match in the 54th minute. The stadium erupted in cheers as the ball hit the back of the net, and Rae's teammates rushed over to congratulate him. The goal was a turning point in Rae's Rangers career, and he went on to become a fan favorite, making over 150 appearances for the club.
