A schooner and other vessels in the harbour with Chapel Rock, also known as Peak Rock, behind. The net loft can be seen on the right hand side of the photograph. Philip M. Correll (1992) suggests that the schooner may have brought coal from Runcorn in Cheshire or salt of the rougher sort from Cadiz.
