Michael Ransley, Lostwithiel instrument maker, works on a copy of a recorder from the sixteenth century. The London College of Music have commissioned him to create four Renaissance recorders. Michael is one of only three people in Britain capable of making instruments that look and sound of the period. Mike also makes bagpipes and flutes and studied at the London College of Furniture.
