Here, amidst a symphony of clanging sounds and billowing smoke, skilled craftsmen meticulously construct British Railways standard coaches with unwavering precision. The image showcases an essential stage in carriage building: the construction of the main frame. With utmost care and expertise, two men can be seen using blow torches to affix metal pieces onto the frame while it is held securely in place by a sturdy jig. The intense heat emanating from their tools creates an ethereal glow that illuminates their focused expressions.
