"Drunkenness: A Historical Journey through Art and Society" Step into the world of intoxication as depicted by renowned artists throughout history. From William Hogarth's iconic "Gin Lane, 1751" to Thomas Rowlandson's lively "Landing at Greenwich, c1780, " these artworks offer a glimpse into the allure and consequences of drunkenness. In Hogarth's "Gin Lane, " we witness the devastating effects of excessive alcohol consumption on society.
