Edward Townsend Stotesbury was a prominent American financier and philanthropist who made a lasting impact on society during the early 20th century. Born in Philadelphia in 1849, Stotesbury rose to prominence as a successful banker and investor, eventually becoming one of the wealthiest men in America.
