"Supporting a Cause: Fundraising Events in San Diego, California" Join us on the historic USS Midway in San Diego, as we come together to raise funds for a worthy cause. Just like Babe Ruth's legendary home runs, this fundraiser aims to hit it out of the park. With Charles Gulliver, Managing Director of the London Palladium, leading the way, this event promises an unforgettable experience. From Louis Wain's whimsical artwork in "More Sausages for Me" to the Million Dollar Lunch in Melbourne that made headlines worldwide – our fundraiser is set to make history. Even royalty has shown their support. The Duchess of York herself championed the National Playing Fields Association at one of our previous events. And who could forget Princess Diana gracing us with her presence at The Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute Dinner Dance in Sydney? Our commitment extends beyond borders too. In 1915 Belgium faced hunger during war times; now it's our turn to lend a helping hand. Meanwhile, across the Atlantic Ocean, New York City's Fulton fish market advertised a grand banquet and hall - reminding us that fundraising can be deliciously rewarding. From taking collections for Salvation Army in San Francisco back in 1939 captured by Dorothea Lange's lens to Unknown capturing moments from The Great Northern Central Hospital Holloway’s fundraising efforts way back in 1888 - these historical snapshots remind us that giving has always been part of humanity. So mark your calendars and join us at the Anglo-Danish Exhibition's "Silver Fete, " where all proceeds will benefit the Victoria Hospital for Children. Together, let’s create lasting impact and continue writing stories of compassion through fundraising events that leave an indelible mark on society.
