The marten, also known as the pine martin in the UK and Germany, is a fascinating creature found across various regions. In the Ural Mountains of Russia, a young pine they are be spotted exploring the forest floor, showcasing its playful nature. Meanwhile, in 19th-century Europe, a pine marten gracefully perches on a tree branch, displaying its agility. In Siberia's Irkutsk region during November, another member of the Martes family called Sable can be seen resting peacefully on a tree trunk.
