"Wild Cattle: Untamed Beauty and Tragic Encounters" Step back in time to the year 1884, where a remarkable Muskox lithograph captures the essence of wild cattle. In Val Trenta, nestled in the upper Isonzo region, a lone creature stands tall amidst its untamed surroundings - an extraordinary sight immortalized through a vivid colour litho. Journeying further along the Adria-Piove di Sacco line, chaos ensues as a littorina collides with an ox that appeared out of nowhere. Startled by this sudden encounter, one can only imagine the astonishment witnessed on that fateful day - another captivating scene depicted through a striking colour litho. However, not all encounters with these majestic creatures end peacefully. A furious cow once took a man's life before meeting its own tragic fate under the crushing wheels of a passing train between Lucca and Castelnuovo. This heart-wrenching incident is hauntingly portrayed in yet another poignant colour litho. The world holds stories beyond imagination. From "The Massacre of the Innocents, " depicted in vibrant colours on lithographic paper, to "A Tragic Escape" captured through delicate strokes and hues - each artwork tells tales of both beauty and sorrow. In Gleno di Montagna located in Trentino, an old lady bravely intervenes between two raging beasts; her courageous act forever preserved within a mesmerizing colour litho. Meanwhile, at an animal market elsewhere, pandemonium erupts as hundreds of oxen suddenly flee causing tragic panic among those present - yet again brought to life by skilful hands on canvas. These creatures also bear witness to involuntary slaughter; their lives cut short due to circumstances beyond their control - evoking deep sympathy when viewed through poignant colour lithos. Moreover, at our East African borders lie ongoing aggressions and provocations involving wild cattle, a constant reminder of the untamed nature that surrounds us.
