James Dunn, American actor, 1934-1935. Dunn started his entertainment career in vaudeville before moving into film in the early 1930s. He appeared in three movies with the child star Shirley Temple and won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar in 1945 for his performance in A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.
