In the clear night sky over Lubbock, Texas, on August 25, 1951, several residents reported seeing an unusual formation of lights in the sky. The sighting gained national attention, and just a few nights later, on August 31, local photographer Carl Hart captured four intriguing images that have never been satisfactorily explained.
