Oriel Ross (Muriel Swinstead, 1907-1994), actress, by Madame Yevonde. In 1928 she appeared in the role of Nature in Diaghilevs Ballet Ode at His Majestys Theatre. This photograph shows her preparing for her part in C B Cochrans revue, This Year of Grace, destined for America. She later returned to London and joined Lilian Bayliss Old Vic Company. She married the 8th Earl Poulett in 1935. Date: 1928
