Sadler and Paget balloon ascent, Hackney
A balloon rising from the Mermaid Gardens at Hackney, watched by a crowd of spectators. The passengers were James Sadler and Captain Paget of the Royal Navy. They descended near Tilbury Fort in Essex. The balloon was decorated in honour of the Prince Regents birthday.
