Woman police officer (Lesley Cosburn) in the updated uniform introduced in 1977, with a range of mix and match options, and the checkered cravat replacing the bow tie. The new style of hat, nicknamed the Butcher Boy, was not popular, and women soon reverted to the earlier Surrey hat. Date: circa 1977
