The filmmaker told the Echo he was set to get to work on the project charting Basseyis formative years in the cityis docklands area after his next project, Northern Soul. Evans n whose new film Hunky Dory, set in Swansea, hits screens on Friday n said: iIive got another script which is the story of the young Shirley Bassey in the Tiger Bay days, so thatis a visit back to Wales of the i50s and London of the i50s which is quite an interesting period to explore.i 17th, June, 2006
