Switching on the Christmas lights are Town Crier, Michael Penprase; Fowey Mayor, Marilyn Wellman; Father Christmas; Mayoress, Pauline Bulmer. Traditionally the Town Crier and Father Christmas have been dropped at the town quay by one of the harbour tugs.
