Created by Alfred Crowquill, a renowned graphic designer of the time, this image captures the essence of the festive season at some of London's most famous theaters. Not to be outdone, Adelphi Theatre offered their own unique spectacle with "Harlequin Poonahwinkeewongflibberdeeflobberdeebuskebong, the King of Cannibal Islands".
