EDITORS COMMENTS
In this electrifying moment captured at Emirates Stadium on February 15,2015, during the FA Cup 5th Round match between Arsenal and Middlesbrough, Chilean international Alexis Sánchez of Arsenal celebrates his goal with teammates, as Ryan Fredericks of Middlesbrough looks on in disappointment. The goal, Sánchez's second of the game, secured Arsenal's victory and their place in the next round of the FA Cup. Sánchez, who had joined Arsenal the previous summer, was in scintillating form that season, scoring 21 goals in all competitions for the Gunners. His first goal against Middlesbrough came in the 21st minute, and this second goal, in the 63rd minute, put the game beyond doubt. Fredericks, a versatile defender for Middlesbrough, tried his best to contain Sánchez throughout the match, but the Arsenal star was too quick and too skillful for him. Sánchez's goal was a result of a brilliant team move, started from the back and involving intricate passing and movement, with Sánchez finishing off the move with a cool finish. The atmosphere at Emirates Stadium was electric as Arsenal fans celebrated their team's dominance over Middlesbrough. Sánchez's goal was a fitting moment of the match, and it encapsulated the skill, determination, and teamwork that Arsenal displayed throughout the game. This photograph, taken by David Price for Arsenal Football Club, captures the intensity and excitement of the moment, with Sánchez's jubilant celebration contrasting with Fredericks' dejected expression. It is a reminder of a memorable FA Cup encounter between two talented teams, and a testament to Sánchez's impact on Arsenal's attack that season.
