Persian manuscript on buff paper, 303ff. plus four fly-leaves, each folio with 25ll. of neat black nasta liq arranged in four gold-outlined columns, titles in red, with twenty-eight contemporaneous miniatures in opaque pigments heightened with gold, f.1b with illuminated headpiece composed of polychrome flowers and interlaced split-palmettes, with gold strapwork borders, 5 further illuminated headpieces, final folio with colophon signed and dated, some flaking of paint and light staining, in brown morocco with lacquered central lobed cartouche.
