The Euphrates Jerboa, also known as the Afghan Jerboa, is a small mammal belonging to the Dipodidae family, which includes jerboas and jumping mice. They are part of the larger order Rodentia, and their scientific name, Allactaga euphratica, reflects their classification within the suborders Myomorpha (mouse-like rodents) and Dipodoidea (jumping rodents).
