Born on October 27, 1753, in the Palace of Saint-Cloud, France, Louise Marie Adelaide de Bourbon was the daughter of Louis, Duke of Bourbon, and Marie Joséphine of Saxony. She married Philippe, Duke of Orleans, in 1771, becoming the Duchess of Orleans and the Orléans heiress. This exquisite portrait showcases the Duchess's refined beauty and impeccable style.
