WW1 - HMS Badger rams U-19 German Navy U-Boat, 1914
WW1 - HMS Badger was an Acheron-class destroyer of the Royal Navy. She was the eighth Royal Navy ship that served during the First World War. The ramming of U-19 became the first allied ship to successfully attack a German Navy U-boat. The Badgers searchlights are turned on as it back away after the ramming. When she rammed U-19 off the Dutch coast U-19, it was severely damaged but managed to return to port, was repaired and survived the war. Date: 1914
