As we celebrate its 30th anniversary, we invite you to join us in commemorating this momentous occasion by hopping on your bikes and pedalling away. The brains behind this incredible event were none other than former Echo editor Geoff Rich and Jean Summerhayes, a dedicated events coordinator at Barnardos. Together, they laid the foundation for what would become a cherished tradition involving thousands of participants including renowned Olympian Daley Thompson.
