Huddersfield children are " getting a grip on litter" for National Spring Clean Week this week. Pupils of Lindley Infant Schools are seen with Sue Pangbourne, of Kirklees Councils environmental improvements unit, at Monza service station, Birchencliffe, where in-car litter bags and information leaflets are being handed to drivers. The station is one of six Shaws stations involved in the in-car litter bag project as part of Spring Clean Week, which has the theme Get a Grip on Litter. 18th April 1991
