He has helped fund Susans medical treatment in the UK, she was born premature and blind, and was not able to be helped in America. Mrs Brindle sent Susan to the UK 18 months ago. Since then, surgeons at Londons Moorfields Hospital have given Susan perfect sight in her left eye, and hope to repair the sightless right eye.
