Poster produced for Great Western Railwayy (GWR) and Southern Railway (SR) to promote rail travel to Plymouth in Devon, illustrated with a picture of Sir Francis Drake. Artwork by Frank Newbould (1887-1951), who studied at Bradford College of Art and joined the War Office in 1942. He designed posters for the London & North Eastern Railway (LNER), GWR, Orient Line and Belgian Railways
