Tram Crash in Woolwich, London. This incident took place in the early hours of Thursday, 18th April 1946. The tram was a no.72 workmens service for early commuters. It wrecked the front of the Co-op Pharmacy at 75 Woolwich New Road and damaged the shop fronts either side. Four passengers, the driver and the conductor sustained injuries
