Caravan on the way to Kabul, Afghanistan in the Khyber Pass (1906): A captivating image of a caravan making its way through the Khyber Pass, en route to Kabul, Afghanistan. The rugged terrain of the pass is evident in the rocky, uneven road that winds through the mountainous landscape. Boxes and other freight are carefully loaded onto the backs of camels and the tops of carts, as the caravan makes its way northward.
