(Chantecler by Edmund Rostand was first produced on 7th February 1910). The image on the flyer is of a chicken striding with a top hat, cane and smoking a cigar. it is promoting the production at the Palace Theatre, Tottenham, dated 3rd October 1910. The captions on this flyer are A Merry and Bright Burlesque of the Famous Production and A Feathered Fantasy in Three Fyttes. The Era (a weekly national newspaper) reported on 30th April 1910 a vogue for the rooster play, which had reached the music halls. Date: 1910
