By 1919, the pub had become an integral part of the local landscape, as evidenced by the photograph taken that year. However, the passage of time eventually took its toll, and the Angel closed its doors in 2003. By September 2017, the once-thriving pub had fallen into dereliction. Despite its current state, the Angel remains a testament to the rich history of public houses in London.
