The iconic Lands End Hotel, perched on the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, played host to a gathering of generous supporters for BBC Children in Need. At the heart of the scene, a bearded man in a smart suit, Peter John de Savary (b.1944), the English entrepreneur who owned both Lands End and John o' Groats at the time, sits amongst the guests.
