Dating back to the 1930s, this public house was a beloved local institution for over 50 years before its unfortunate demise in 1936. The Freemasons Arms, a name that does not refer to the Freemasons Company, Limited, was a popular gathering place for the community, where friends and neighbors would meet for a pint and a chat. The pub, which was located at Freemasons Arms, Clapham, London SW8 2PX, was a cherished part of the Clapham landscape for generations. Sadly, it was demolished in 1936, leaving behind only memories and photographs like this one.
