This evocative photograph captures the historic White Hart Public House, located at the corner of Tottenham Court Road and Hoare Street in the heart of London. Established in the late 1800s, the White Hart was a beloved local watering hole and gathering place for generations of Londoners. The red brick facade, adorned with ornate details and the distinctive White Hart emblem, stands proudly against the backdrop of the bustling city. The White Hart was a cherished part of the community, with a rich history that spanned over a century. The pub was known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere, where friends and neighbors could come together to share stories, enjoy a pint, and celebrate special occasions. Unfortunately, as of July 2018, the White Hart Public House was no more. The building, which had been a fixture of the Tottenham Court Road landscape for so long, was demolished to make way for new development. The loss of this historic pub was deeply felt by the community, leaving many to reminisce about the memories they had made there. This photograph serves as a poignant reminder of the White Hart Public House and the role it played in the lives of those who frequented it.
