Sud-Aviation SA.3210-01 Super Frelon F-ZWWE (msn 01, call-sign E ), the first prototype of the Super Frelon on display at the Musee de l Air et de l Espace du Bourget. F-ZWWE first flew on 7 December 1962, powered by three 985kW Turmo IIIG-2 engines, representing the troop transport version. With a modified fuselage and small skid landing gear, F-ZWWE set three speed records in July 1963: 341.23km/h over 3km; 350.47km/h over 15/25km (unbeaten until 1967); 334.28km/h over 100km. The Super Frelon, with its distinctive design and powerful presence, first took to the skies on December 7, 1962. Powered by three 985kW Turmo IIIG-2 engines, this helicopter represented the troop transport version of the Super Frelon.
