A mobile anti-flu team has been visiting many firms in the Midlands, and the new jet-spray method has been devised to deal with large numbers in the shortest possible time. The vaccine is sprayed through the skin at high speed and dispenses with the use of a hyperdermic syringe. Well over 300 men and women per hour can be vaccinated in that way, which is an important consideration in industry so keeping interference with production to a minimum.
