Terry Hall and The Colourfield performed on stage at Coventry Lanchester Polytechnic in the Cov Aid event to help feed starving children in Africa. It was the hometown debut for the Colourfield. 15 bands from the Coventry area each performed a 20-minute set in the six-and-a-half-hour celebration. They alternated between two halls, playing to more thatn 800 enthusiastic pop fans. The event raised more than 3, 200 for the war against hunger in Ethiopia and Sudan.
