Rudolf Nureyev Pose 1961

Taken on 22 June 1961 at the Theatre des Champs Elyses in Paris, where he was set to perform with the International Ballet of the Marquis de Cuevas, this image showcases Nureyev's undeniable talent and charisma. Born in Soviet Russia, Nureyev honed his skills at the prestigious Leningrad Choreographic School before becoming a soloist with the renowned Kirov Ballet.
