Ginger Rogers (born Virginia Katherine McMath; July 16, 1911 April 25, 1995) American actress, dancer, and singer, best known for dance films in which she was partnered with Fred Astaire. Featured in a Max Factor booklet at the time she was one of Radio Pictures stars using the cosmetic companys rouge. The booklet emphasised Max Factors success in developing make up which was able to withstand film studio lights and contained hints and tips on how to achieve similar results at home using Max Factor products.
