The 300-year-old custom of holding a fairground service on Good Friday was revived in Watford, Hertfordshire, during the afternoon. The fairground folk of Flanagans Famous Funfair joined together to sing the hymns in Cassiobury Park, Watford, and to listen to a local folk group play. They were accompanied by a merry-go-round by local preachers of every denomination. 28th March 1970
