The scene is filled with a vibrant array of horse-drawn carriages, showcasing the diverse modes of transportation that were prevalent at the time. Amongst them, we can spot traders, taxis, and buses, each playing their part in this lively cityscape. The photograph captures a northward view from Hyde Park Corner, revealing iconic landmarks on either side. On the left stands the magnificent Grand Entrance to Hyde Park, also known as the Queen Elizabeth Gate. This architectural marvel was constructed between 1824 and 1825 and serves as a testament to London's rich history. To the right lies Apsley House, an elegant 18th-century townhouse belonging to the Dukes of Wellington.
